Have you ever struggled with how to handle limited-time offers that you want to keep running indefinitely?
Here’s a concept I’ve been thinking about for a while: an evergreen expiry timer.
Whether you’re promoting an affiliate product or launching your own, urgency is key. Timers create that essential “act now” feeling. But here’s the challenge—what if you want to offer a permanent special price for new customers?
With a traditional timer, once it expires, everyone sees the same offer. However, with an evergreen expiry timer, each customer gets their own countdown. The timer works normally for them, but expires individually—meaning the deal stays fresh for every new visitor.
Imagine setting up multiple timers that gradually reduce the value of your offer over time. Each redirect leads to a slightly less attractive deal than before. Early adopters get the best deals, incentivizing quick action, while future visitors learn to act fast to get the most value.
There are countless applications for this system. It can be used for:
- Affiliate marketing bonuses
- Product launches
- Limited-time discounts
- Webinar sign-ups
I’ve actually built one of these timers myself. It’s currently under testing, and the results have been impressive. Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing more soon!
What do you think? Could you make use of something like this?
