In the last couple of days, I have had a new phishing attempt arrive in my inbox.

I wrote about some spam attacks recently, but this is a new one I haven't seen before.

I took a screenshot of it and supplied it here for your viewing pleasure.

To view this you'll need to enable images.

The crux of this email is that it claims to be from my email service, warning me that my password is about to expire.

They claim that there is very little time to fix this, but I can click their button to keep my old password.  Hahahaha.

I have no idea what happens if I click their button because I'm not that stupid.

Here are the warning flags that this is not a legitimate email from my email service provider.

  1. The email address they sent this to is not my primary email address.
  2. Their from email address isn't even from the email service.
  3. My password with this account hasn't expired in the last ten years, so it's unlikely to expire in a hurry now.
  4. If there had been a policy change, they would have notified me that it was happening, and I would have had multiple emails warning me of impending doom.
  5. My anti-virus software flagged it as a phishing attempt.

There you have it, a heads up that there is another attempt to get your details for their nefarious schemes.

Stay alert for scammers.

Regards,
Brent.

P.S. OK, today is the launch day for the craft PLR.

You can check it out here https://go.wm-tips.com/leawork.

If you find that it's not quite open when you get there, it's only because of a time zone issue.

Try again later. The launch is for Thursday U.K. time.

There are only 3 OTOs, and they are all worth what Steve is asking, but you do not need them for the PLR to be valuable.
