"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

If turnips were watches, I'd wear one by my side.

If "if's" and "and's" were pots and pans,

There'd be no work for tinkers' hands."

🎰

This rhyme showed up in a collection of Scottish proverbs in around 1628.

I find this interesting because some people still think that they don't have to work for the things they want in life.

Books such as "The Secret" fill their heads with the half-truth that focussing on your desires is sufficient to make them come true.

It's not true if it were far more people would be successful.

The other common saying is "if you're so smart, why aren't you rich?"

But that is also based on a mistruth.

Rich people are not smarter than you.

They don't visualise their success better than you.

They have just worked harder, longer, more consistently towards their goals than you — unless you're already as wealthy as you want to be.

If you are, congratulations and I wish you further success.

However, if you are not where you want to be, go back over my emails.

I have laid out multiple times the path you need to take.

It's not hard.

It doesn't take many smarts.

It doesn't need much money.

What it does take is a goal, a plan and action.

A goal without action is pointless.

Action without a goal is also pointless.

The plan is the actions you need to take to reach the goal.

Or are you too smart to make any money?

Regards,

Brent.

P.S. I've been working with a partner on a little project for about a month now. Between us, we have created a website, created an email sequence with 30 emails which will expand to 365 emails, set up a payment platform each, posted over 30 blog posts, set up a Facebook page, a Twitter account, an Instagram account, a Pinterest account, a YouTube account.

These are all populated with images, posts, videos etc. as required for each platform.

Currently, we have thousands of likes, views, shares and visitors to the website.

I addition I have worked with my wife to rebuild our under house area completely, spent time with my 90-year-old mother, video chatted with friends and family and other activities.

Why tell you about this?

To let you know that I'm a real person with family and household demands, and I still managed to do more with my computer in a month than most people will do in a year.

You can do this as well.

All you have to do is decide to do something and take action.

Here are four things you can do starting today even if you are in lockdown that will change your life for the better reasonably quickly if you stay on track. 👀
