One definition of remarkable is, do people make remarks about you to others?

Do you stand out in the crowd?

I'm not talking about streaking, that will get you noticed and talked about, but it's not helpful.

You don't have to be good-looking or so bad you scare dogs and small children, that's not the type of remarks you are looking for.

Rock stars have groupies, not because they are good looking, but because they are famous.

No, in the group of people you wish to have as customers, do they talk about you at all, or do they not even notice you are there?

Seth Godin says:- 

"Not everyone appreciates your efforts to be remarkable. In fact, most people don't. So what? Most people are ostriches, heads in the sand, unable to help you anyway. Your goal isn't to please everyone. Your goal is to please those that actually speak up, spread the word, buy new things or hire the talented."

Those are the people you want to become customers, remember that you only need 1,000 true fans to make a good living.

They will appreciate the value you bring to their lives.

They will happily pay you for access to that value because you give them so much value for free that they'll snap up the better stuff when you offer it.

If you have given away all your best stuff and you have nothing more to sell them, offer them coaching where you allow them to ask you questions and you talk about how what you have given them fits into their businesses or lives.

People will pay for your time, that is the most valuable resource.

What do you know or can learn that can set you on the path to remarkable?

In 10 hours of study, you can learn enough on any subject to be seen as an expert.

During that study, you'll come across sections that are more difficult to grasp than others.

Become an expert on the tricky bits and teach those.

WTF?

That's ridiculous money for being famous for being famous.

No that's not a mistake, most of them don't have any unique talents, skills or knowledge.

All they have done is managed to get a huge following, and that following has made them famous.

They have become remarkable.
