The problem with trying to get lots of free traffic from Facebook is that they want you to buy the visitors, not get them for free.
To this end, they manipulate the number of people in your group or amongst your members and followers who will see your latest post.
It's their platform, they can do what they like, and they do.
With the vast numbers of people using Facebook daily, it makes total sense that you, as a savvy marketer, would want to get as many eyeballs on your latest post as possible.
This is how you do it for free.
Create your public group in the niche you want, and make it look business-like, but don't spend days on it.
Search for other groups in your niche, public or private groups.
Make sure they have a members list of a couple of thousand and that the group is active.
Also, make sure that they allow members to post promotional posts.
Join these groups, about 25 per day until you run out of groups to join.
Do this every day for at least a month, but do the maths and work out how many groups you could be a member of in 6 months.
After your first day of joining groups start posting in your group, 3 - 6 times a day.
Each post should promote something different, but you can recycle the posts after a week or so.
Do not repost in the other groups, share each post to the other groups, no more than 50 - 100 per day.
You can go back and re-share the previous day's posts to different groups.
Stagger your joining and sharing throughout the day so it looks more natural.
In this way, you avoid the duplicate posting that Facebook will ban your account for and you'll get lots of free traffic from those groups to your post.
Easy? No.
Simple? Yes.
Can you do this? Absolutely.

Brent.
P.S. The thing about free traffic is that you have to do a lot more to get it.
You can. There are many, many ways to generate free traffic, but you'll have to get the flow started.
The alternative is paying for your traffic, which is faster and takes less work on your part.
There is another way to get floods of free traffic to your site.
Take advantage of YouTube.
The ranking algorithm for YouTube is not as harsh as for Google search, partly because they cannot, yet, index the content of your videos.
So they rank a video in the same way they used to rank webpages.
The content you give them, the keywords you use, the backlinks to the video and how long people watch the videos.
To make this stuff easier to do for every video you upload, there is a tool, which I have been using for a while, that automates a lot of what you need to do.
It's currently on a huge discount, check it out here.
