PPC stands for pay per click, and most people think that they have to write their ads to maximise their clicks.

I'm telling you that you should write your ads to maximise the clicks from people who will buy your thing.

If that means driving away those who will never buy, then that's what you need to do.

Google, Facebook, Solo ad sellers etc., will tell you different, but they make money from the click you don't.

You only make money when the person clicking takes an action that gets you paid.

I know it's counter-intuitive but think about it this way.

If the person clicking is only after your freebie, what chance do you have of selling them something later?

Sweet FA. They probably have either given you a junk email address or won't open any of your emails.

You cannot make an income from that.

What do you do instead?

You write your ads so that the person clicking through expects to pay for something even if they are getting a freebie upfront.

You still won't get everyone to buy, but the odds are definitely in your favour.

You have more leeway with a solo ad than a Google or Facebook ad, so that would be my preference, but you get to make your own choices here.

Write the solo ad in such a way that it is a pre-sell page for your main offer and the lead magnet freebie is an overview of the main offer.

With one of the others, you'll need a pre-sell bridge page in any case, and the ad should tell them that they'll get a bargain, or first-mover advantage or a discount on the main product.

Something that tells them there is a paid offer behind the ad.

Remember, you are not trying to fill your email list with 100,000 people who won't open your emails.

You want to fill it with 1,000 people who will open most of your emails and buy $100 worth of product from you each year.

Does that make sense to you?

Hit reply and let me know.

Brent.

P.S.  I have found a couple of sources of leads who do read your ads and click the links that you can tap into at no cost.

The first is ListJoe, https://go.wm-tips.com/listjoe, and the second is LeadsLeap, https://go.wm-tips.com/llhome.

Both of these sites have generated leads for me and will for you.
