Humans are naturally lazy.

It's a good thing because we are engineered to conserve energy.

Most animals are the same. 

When you can't be sure where your next meal is coming from or the type of food you consume takes significant energy to digest, you don't want to waste energy.

Lions are the laziest predators on the planet. 

Like most cats, they'll sleep or rest for up to 18 hours every day.

When they attack, they prefer ambush attacks to wearing prey down by chasing them for hours as the African Painted dog will.

Being lazy is a survival technique, but it doesn't help you a lot in our modern world.

When you have things you want to achieve, your natural laziness will handicap you or prevent you from reaching that goal ever.

How do you overcome that?

The simplest way is to begin practising minimal behaviours that will move you towards your goal.

For example, if your goal is to run a 5k marathon, the minimal behaviour might be to put on your running shoes which triggers you to head outside for a walk around the block.

The block will depend on where you live, of course. 

There is a cattle station in Central Australia that is bigger than Texas. 

Walking around that block might take you several weeks.

The logic here is that you can't run a 5k marathon if you can't walk 5k, and you can't walk 5k unless you can walk around the block.

But you can build up to that, and it starts with putting your running shoes on.

If you are looking to make an income online, the question you might start with is, "How can I build an email list of buyers?"

Clearly, the first step is to set up an autoresponder and a signup form.

Step two would be to make it attractive for people to buy something from you and join your email list.

The minimal step for each day would be something that sends visitors to your offer.
