When I started, it was definitely a financial drain. Not only that, but I wasn't getting anywhere near a positive return on investment. I wasn't making money, nor was I building an asset. What a drop-kick. I wasn't sure what an asset was for an Internet business, so I guess I could cut myself a little slack there. So what is an asset for your business? An asset is something of value that you have control over. That means that these things are not assets:-
But, my Facebook group has 50k members, my YouTube channel has 1k subscribers and 100k views, my whatever account has whatever data. Isn't that value? Yes, it is valued, but it doesn't qualify as an asset. If Facebook/Google/YouTube/Whoever cancels your account (and that happens more often than you think), you're left with nothing. You can't take your subscribers with you, and you don't have any possibility to contact them anymore. Finito, fried, toast, done and screwed over. What does that leave then? Your email list and your hub site. If you choose to have your name as the domain name for your hub site, which many people do, it's no longer an asset because you'll have problems selling it. My main hub site is wm-tips.com, I have many others, and I have my name as a domain name. All bar my personal one are assets and can be sold. I could sell my email lists, I don't know why I would, but I could. Other assets are products that you have created. Do you think you should be building your assets rather than someone else's?
Vidnami is closing, you know that already, you have to download all your videos by mid-August. Don't wait. I discovered today that you have to render every one of them to download them, which takes time. This is not the time to think it's good procrastination. It's not. To make sure your hub site is an asset, you'll need to have some quality content on it. YIVE has an RSS to video feature. You would use it like this. You connect your hub site to YIVE and post great articles on your hub site. YIVE creates a video for each new post to add to YouTube and above your new post. Get YIVE here on a special deal https://go.wm-tips.com/yive-one. What about the written content? You can use PLR as long as it's good, and you can use articles from places like EzineArticles.com. There's a bunch more here https://www.practicalecommerce.com/wilson-article-marketing-1. The best option is to write posts yourself, and the best way to learn how to write good engaging posts is here https://link.wm-tips.com/reviews. |
