Of course, I'm talking about email segregation. The discussions on this subject claim that it is always a good thing to do with your subscribers, but I'm not so sure. If you work in multiple niches, it is essential to send the correct type of email for each niche. That's a no brainer. After all, there is no point in sending an email about email segregation to your weight loss list is there. However, if all of your subscribers joined via one or more aspects of weight loss, then is there benefit in sending Paleo diet stuff only to the Paleo list or would the "Only eat sardines for a month" group also benefit from the Paleo diet? (I don't know if there is such a diet, and I wouldn't suggest it if there were.) Perhaps you could segregate the weight loss list into buyers and non-buyers to offer entry-level products to the non-buyers and more advanced products to the buyers' segment. There are benefits to segregation in the delivery of future emails since more tightly targeted emails are more likely to be opened, which is one of the metrics used by the email services to determine the value of your emails. Other than that, though, I don't see any benefit in writing an email per day to multiple segments. What are your thoughts on this subject? Hit reply and let me know. Regards,
I know that sounds stupid, but here's the thing. If you give people something, for free, that they have personalised and are happy with the result, they will be more likely to open your emails and take action on your promotions. You have become a trusted person because you delivered what you told them you would provide. What if you could build this list without the standard opt-in form? It can be done. See the case study here of a friend who built a list of over 1,000 happy people quickly. https://go.wm-tips.com/list |
