One of the most common questions that new marketers ask themselves is, which niche should I enter? Most guides you see online will ask you to turn your interest/hobby into a business. This advice may be correct, but there are two problems.
I would say... Forget about your interest. Do business in a niche where it is easy to find customers. Not just customers, but customers who can bring more customers to you. Instead of focusing on your interest, find a niche where you can make good use of your natural skills or talents. The interest may change, but your natural ability is unlikely to change. For example, I like to fix things, have since I was young. That is my natural gift. After I got into online marketing, I learned programming, which allowed me to create various tools and systems for the niche of home business. I know a successful affiliate marketer who also enjoys creating things like me. But he uses his skills to develop various innovative marketing campaigns and copywriting strategies to generate more affiliate sales. The same natural ability, but different skills lead to different ways to make money online. Different people have different natural abilities. Some people are stars by nature. They like being in the spotlight. For them, they can run a webinar business, become a public speaker, etc. Some people are natural businessmen by nature. They may enjoy doing business with manufacturers and selling things on Amazon. There are too many ways to make money online. If you have tried some and still haven't found the success you want, it's because you haven't found one that matches your natural abilities, or you haven't found the right niche where you can use your natural ability to make money quickly. Regards, Brent. P.S. One thing you will need to learn if you want to make any seriuos money online is how to generate traffic and turn that traffic into profit. Traffic that isn't targeted has a very low conversion rate so you better not be spending much money on that. How about traffic that is targeted and also free, except for a bit of your time? I'm jusy going through Traffic Nemisis and I have already put some of it into action. You can see what this is here. |
