You don't have to be a good writer to be successful. You do have to be talking to underserved people. Then you've got no competition. Nobody writes as good as they wish they did. It always sucks. Post it anyway. There is plenty of worse stuff getting published all the time. The secret to being a good writer is to do it every day, as per #1 and #2 above and you basically can't help but get better when you practice toward a target. A guru-level trick is that you can get away with having USED to be a good writer, if you save all your stuff and repost it again later, lol. Before you repost, fix it up a little each time. Eventually, you have a pile of absolute bangers that is sufficiently huge that no loyal fan remembers it all, and it takes so long to loop around the list that most people in your growing audience haven't seen it yet. All writers start badly, it's part of the learning process to go from crap to good to excellent. But you have to start from crap, or close to it. One rule you must follow, if you write it, you must publish it somewhere. You can have a blogger blog hidden away where no-one will ever see it if you must, but you have to publish. This gets you in the habit of publishing, so you don't end up with a hard drive full of content that you've not finished polishing yet. You can polish up any article even after it's published so you might as well get it online now. Regards, Brent P.S.
