Nothing in life is straight forward. There will always be obstacles put in your way by circumstances, your friends, your family or your poor decisions. None of them needs to prevent you from getting where you want to go.
"One ship drives east, and another drives west With the selfsame winds that blow. Tis the set of the sails And not the gales Which tells us the way to go. Like the winds of the seas are the ways of fate, As we voyage along through life: Tis the set of a soul That decides its goal, And not the calm or the strife." -- Ella Wheeler Cox.
I love this poem.
The truth that we all need to accept to become genuinely free is that we and we alone determine our path through life. That is not to downplay the role that others can have on our current circumstances, but while we still breathe, our present conditions do not have to be or determine our final destination. Life can get complicated, and obstacles will occur. That's OK, it's as we expect, but it doesn't have to stop you even if it causes changes of direction. Keep moving towards your goals even if you have to make detours.
Regards,
P.S. OK, I have a gift for you. That report I told you about that I have re-written is now complete and for sale on Gumroad @ $29 but you will not have to pay that. I have begun, not completed yet, a post on a Google sites page which will link to the Gumroad sales page and offer a $10 discount. Google sites get indexed very fast by Google and can get ranked relatively well too. But you don't have to pay that either. I want you to see the difference between the original and the re-write. So, here are the links to both documents on dropbox. These are both immediate downloads, but please don't share these links with anyone else. Let me know what you think, I'm a big boy now, and I can take it. The original file. The re-written file. |
