How often do I email them?

How do you structure the emails?

I get it, there seems to be a lot to think about and do.

So, here's a radical thought.

Don't do it.

The thing you are really trying to do is build an audience.

A group of people who want to read what you have to say.

Those who want to communicate with you and become part of your tribe.

Where else can you build a group of people like that?

There's the obvious one, Facebook groups.

But there is also Twitter, Medium, Pinterest, YouTube, Google groups, Yahoo groups, Patreon, and many others.

We have all forgotten about the massive number of sites where you can talk directly with your followers and still offer them things to buy.

In my opinion, email is still the best because you have direct contact with your subscribers that no platform can turn off on a whim.

That doesn't mean you have to start there.

You can start in any of these other places and get used to chatting with your audience.

Then you can migrate them to your email list to keep control of your communication with them.

Each post you make to whatever platform you choose is the equivalent of an email.

Provide the best value you can in each one, and you will get followers and likes.

As an example, a Facebook group that I and another built during 2020 currently has 3,900 followers.

We can talk with all of these people daily.

We haven't spent a cent on advertising, and this is all organic.

I haven't done anything on it for a year.

TBH, this page isn't exceptional, and we haven't put in anywhere near enough work on it, but it still resonates with our target audience.

Imagine if you could create something unique?

P.S.  Ultimately, you'll still be better off with an email list, but it doesn't have to start there.

The same techniques for making some income from whatever you do still apply.

Give them a heap of value, then offer them something extra that they have to pay to get access to.

When you do that, it becomes a no brainer for them to buy.

They know your quality, they know how you respond to questions, and they know you.

Can you do that?

Of course you can.

You are probably already doing this in someone else's group.

Start your own and PM people you chat with to offer them something extra they have to either friend you or join your group to get.
