As promised yesterday I have created a demo page in the free tool NicePage and replicated it in Convertri. Now, I wasn't able to replicate it exactly for several reasons, one is that I wasn't able to find the exact icons that I used in the NicePage tool, they were built-ins and I couldn't extract them for the Convertri page, I wasn't able to exactly match some of the colours, I probably could if I used the picker tool but I didn't. I don't think those things matter so much as demonstrating that Convertri did have the ability to create those web 3.0 pages. Why is this important? On the NicePage site, they claim that theirs is the only tool that can create this type of web page and as you'll be able to see, that's not correct. What they are correct about is that most of the other web design tools cannot do this. I'm going to spend a little time over the next few days trying to duplicate the page in some of the other tools I have available to prove that to myself and I will report the results to you. Here are the two pages to compare:- https://nomad-productions.convertri.com/np-site2html You will notice some other variations between the two pages, one is full screen while the other is not, some of the panels don't line up quite in the second one. That's just me being slack and not making sure everything is perfectly aligned. Again, it's not really important. The demo shows that I could have both pages looking exactly the same if I so chose, I didn't. I was trying to prove a point and I think I succeeded.
Regards,
P.S. The business opportunity here is two-fold. The first one is that, with very little practice, you could take either of these tools and begin offering your services as a web designer. Both of these will churn out high-quality pages for people pretty quickly. Both of these will enable you to set up websites for people and charge them for the build, the hosting, the domain name — if they don't already have one — and even for maintenance on that website. Local businesses are the best target for that service. Here's the rub though, Convertri pages load much faster than other pages so that is your best bet for impressing your customers and beating off your competition. If you are unsure about how to do this I'd start with NicePage and then migrate to Convertri because you can use NicePage for free for a limited time. |
