Usually, we set our goals really well but work towards them badly. The reason for that is that the advisers, who tell us how to reach them. You have been told to write your goals down. Read them daily. Visualise them as being achieved in the present. This works for around 15% of the population. Not so much for the rest of us. It’s bloody frustrating, isn’t it? You know what you want. You follow the instructions. It doesn’t work. You start to doubt that you can have the success you deserve. Been there. Done that. Don’t give up though. There is a solution. It’s quick and easy. One simple change to what you are already doing. Instead of visualising the goal, visualise the main step you need do that will take you towards the goal. What I mean by that is that, let’s assume that your goal is to make an extra grand a month. You decide that your traffic will come from forum posting and your sig. You know that to get more traffic from forums you need to post regularly with good questions and or good answers. This is what you visualise for your goal setting exercise. You visualise posting every day and getting good comments from those posts. Visualising the activity you need to do to reach the goal will get you there. You can do this. Regards, Brent. P.S. Of course, you just might want something that is quick and easy to get started with and can bring results in a day. My friend Barry has put together a really tidy little program, dead simple, that can do this for you. He calls it Fast Start 9 and you can pick it up for less than your coffee addiction. Stupid cheap really but there you go.
