On a semi-regular basis, you'll get access to a plugin or other software package that doesn't quite do what you want.

You may want to add a link to a webpage in a PLR package you bought or alter a PDF, yes you can do that without having access to the original document.

There may be a clash with some other plugin that means you can't use one or other of them.

What to do?

  • You could ask the developer to make the changes, and they might.
  • You could find someone on Fiverr to fix it for you, which may work.
  • You could find someone on Upwork or one of the other sites to fix it.
  • They will, but it will cost you.
  • Alternatively, you could fix it yourself if you had a little bit of knowledge and skill.

What if there was a short, concise course that taught you just enough about programming for you to make those changes yourself?

Not to make you a programmer, but enough to be comfortable with fixing a broken plugin or sort out a PDF.

I'm thinking about putting such a course together based on my over 30 years of programming experience.

What you'll learn is how to track down a problem, what different error messages mean and where to look for the fault.

How to recognise it when you see it and what to do to fix it.

You'll also learn where to go for answers and how to implement them.
