Yep, I have been tardy.

I'm writing this email about 6 hours after I should have.

I've been setting up another email sequence for a project I'm working on, and I have been so focussed that I forgot to write this email earlier.

The email sequence is one that I want to send at the same time of day in all time-zones.

This proved to be far more challenging than it should have been.

There are several ESPs who do offer this as part of their paid service, but they are quite expensive.

I already have more than enough ESPs for my needs and didn't want to buy another one just for that feature.

However, I found that one of the services I already use has that feature built-in at the level I pay them for now.

There is one small issue.

I have to set up one sequence for each of the time-zones, they don't have a way to filter the subscribers based on time-zone or even time-zone tags except in their broadcast function.

Of course I want to do it differently that is usually the nature of the way I do things.

My wife would agree.

She also knows and now understands that I always win.

It doesn't matter what I do, I'm a stubborn and persistent bugger who will not allow any situation to beat me.

This is no different.

But it will take me some time to complete setting up the email sequence in the first instance, and then I have to duplicate it 32 times.

I'll still win, though, and it will run smoothly.

Are you meeting challenges and defeating them?

You can you know, all it takes is persistence.

And perhaps a little help from your friends.

Email me if you need some help.

Regards,

Brent.

P.S. I hope you are all still well if a little stir crazy now.

I was thinking today that some people will be welcoming the shutdown and some won't even notice the difference in their lives.

Many writers shut themselves away when they write.

Most software developers don't even notice if there are people around them when they are creating.

My two brothers are pretty much recluses usually, they both reported that they only had to stop doing two outings a week that they would typically have done.

Other people will be crawling up the walls because they are social butterflies and never stay at home.

I don't know which you are, but this may help you anyway.

Write that book you've promised yourself to do for years.

Now's your chance, take it.
