What do I do to fix it? That is the seven-word mantra. 👍🏻
Too many people when they run an online business, worry about the sort of issues they're going to run into, or when they run into a problem they say, "oh this is too hard," and they give up. 🤷🏻♂️
The truth is whenever you hit a roadblock, ask yourself, "What do I do to fix it?" You will see there are only three answers. The important thing here is, to be honest with yourself. Is it something you can fix yourself? If not who or what are you going to get to help? There are only a few options: Number one, outsource it. If it's something you don't want to do or you don't enjoy doing. Find somebody else who does like doing it well and who can do it for you and pay them or barter something you can do for them.
Number two, you can learn how to do it. If it's something you don't know how to do you can learn how to do it, but you have to ask yourself is that the most profitable use of your time? Is it better to get somebody else to do it? Or find another way? Ask yourself if something is worth you spending the time learning? You don't need to be a "Photoshop expert" or coder. The truth is you don't need those things to make an income online, you need to be able to sell, and you need to learn the sales processes.
Number three, find a service or program to automate it. When you find a service or a piece of software to automate the process, you can get the job done quickly. There is more and more software coming out that automates tasks and tricky things for you and make things easier. And yes, I've seen some at a premium price, but honestly if there's a job you need to do repetitively and there's a tool that makes it easy to do, it makes sense to invest in that tool. It makes more sense to throw down a little bit of money and invest in a tool to make your life easier doing something you have to do regularly. Decide how to do it in the fastest, most time-efficient manner possible and do it.
Whatever the block – the answer is never "give up."
Regards,
P.S. Have you looked at the rash of funnel and page builders that have been growing like mushrooms lately? I have had a look at most of them and to be honest, some of them look very good on the surface. Unfortunately, most of them don't stack up when you look at them closely.
They are like mudguards (fenders); they are all shiny on top and all crappy underneath.
The issues range from builtin autoresponders which will get even your most basic email into spam folders to expensive add-ons that you will need to get any value from the 'free for life' front end.
I have always been concerned about any all-in-one software or hardware. I worked for over 30 years as an Office Equipment technician. I wouldn't say I liked the all-in-one products when they first came out, and my opinion hasn't changed. The issue that I saw immediately is that when you have a fax machine, a scanner, a photocopier and a printer all in the one unit any part that fails prevents you using most if not all the rest.
I still operate on the principle that I want each tool to be stand-alone. I don't even host my domains where I register them. 😉
With software tools, I have one product for each job. Some are free, such as Audacity for audio manipulation, Wordpress for blogging, LastPass for password protection, Wordfence for blog security etc. Some are not free, such as Vidnami for creating videos fast, Convertri for sales pages and funnels, ProductDyno for product delivery, Convertkit for emails, ClickMagick for tracking and some others. |
