The question relates to your business and also your life.

Let's stick to the business side of things for now and trust that you can make the transition to the life side of this on your own.

The perspective I'm talking about is one of applying game theory to your business.

There are two types of games, the finite game and the infinite game.

In a finite game there are rules and a fixed length of time for playing the game.

At the end of play, there is a winner and a loser, usually.

Finite games have a fixed number of players, you know who they are, and they can't change during the game.

In an infinite game, there is no end, and the rules can change during play.

You don't even know who all the players are, and they can change during the game.

You can't play either type of game with the mindset of the other kind.

Life itself is an infinite game, players come and go, the rules change, you don't know how long you get to play.

Business is also an infinite game.

Unfortunately, most businesses play it as a finite game.

Most business people think in terms of beating their competitors when they should be thinking in terms of serving their customers.

They think in terms of making $10,000 per month, then per week, then per day when their goal should be to create ten happy customers a month, then 10 per week, then 10 per day.

Then ramp that up to 100 happy customers etc.

When the goal is to create as many happy customers as you can, the competition is always with yourself.

"How can I get better at making my customers happy?"

"How can I make the next video better?"

"How can I write better content?"

"How can I make a better product that will make their lives easier?"

"How can I make my next book better?"

This type of business cannot be stolen from you by another person because you built it on your values.

It is uniquely you; no-one else can duplicate that.

Does this resonate with you?

P.S. If you have ever seen an overhyped sales page from some of the more well-known Internet Scammers you should follow the link below and get an insight into the ways they manipulate you into buying their less than stellar products.

Just the sales page for this is educational, but if you choose to spend the $5 to unlock the whole page, then you are in for an education.

The language is a bit fruity, but that shouldn't put you off.
