About a year ago, Google started setting up their .new top-level domain name extension. They didn't allow anyone else to play with it while they figured out how to use it themselves but it's coming into the realms of public usage, except Google will not allow just anyone to register for one. However, here are some that you can try out. Type doc.new into your URL bar. If you are logged into your Google account this will open a new document ready for you to start typing. Here is the full list as of today:
Now Google’s making that small magic available to the rest of the internet as well. These are the front runners.
There will be more but they will also be restricted, Google is controlling access fairly tightly so there will only be reputable companies able to register these. Just in case you thought that things had slowed down online. Regards, Brent. P.S. Something I have not offered before to you is access to my private newsletter. This is a 12-month membership where I give you access to a PDF newsletter, one per month, which talks about case studies of different ways people make money online. These are usually under the radar type people with methods that you'll not find anywhere else. Some are purely online, some are online/offline hybrids but they are all proven methods that make money for the people using them. Most of these have been going for years so they are unaffected by Google's silliness. Most of them are by people I know or know of and they are, mostly, not mine. Although there are elements of my activities in some of these. |
