I found an exciting thing in the SendSteed autoresponder notes that I hadn't spotted before. It's one of the things that prevents people from using double opt-in with their promotions. Many people who fill in the opt-in form to get whatever is offered in exchange for their email address will not open their confirmation email and click the link. Many solo ad sellers will not allow you to use double opt-in for this reason. It makes their stats look bad. Some people, myself included, have taken to adding a GDPR checkbox on the subscription form instead of sending the confirmation email. This requirement still reduces the number of people joining your list, but it's not as restrictive as the confirmation email. SendSteed allows you to broadcast emails to those who opted in but didn't confirm for 30 days after they initially subscribed. Anyone who opens an email in those 30 days will be considered to have confirmed their email address. This feature is only available for Pro members, but I don't know of any other autoresponder that allows you to send an email to someone who didn't confirm. Pretty cool, I think. Regards,
