That must be why so many of the notes have traces of cocaine on them.

Nah, that's just a joke, although it's true that over 90% of banknotes test positive for drugs.

In a hurry?  Those with the most buy buttons make the most money.

*****************************************************

There is an element of truth in that statement though.

It's mostly due to the undeniable fact that most people are so slow at putting a buy button online for any product that they never get it done.

The rule is that those with the most buy buttons make the most money.

In that sense, the faster you can get something online with a buy button, the quicker you can start earning.

When you delay because the product or the sales page isn't perfect, you lose.

Perfection is something to aim for, not something to wait for.

The more you do something, the better you get at it, but you will never get any product or sales page perfect the first time.

The only thing to do is to do the thing.

Show it to people.

Go back and fix it, maybe.

Do it better next time.

I just gave you permission to do something imperfectly while you learn how to do to better.

Here is Microsoft's website, as seen in 1996.

Here is Apple's website at the same time.

They got a lot better.

So can you, but you do have to start and keep going.

Brent.

P.S.  On the Internet, we make our own stage

There is no critic or theatre owner or director to appease.

We converse directly with our audience of buyers and fans.

What is the cost of failure here?

Is there such a thing as failure when the cost is zero?

Just do more, do it again, and keep doing it.

The only way to fail is to hold back, thinking that somehow just the right amount brilliance or polish is what will make or break you.

Almost no successful creator of any kind has a career of ONLY occasionally perfect masterpieces.

The really successful people are the ones who publish work continuously, and some of those pieces prove to be popular and celebrated.

Yup, you will mess up lots.

And you'll publish those missteps, too.

You can turn those stumbles into valuable material in and of itself by making a lesson about overcoming them.
