What happened to the days when you could grab a whole boatload of PLR articles, run them through a garbage spinning software, slap them up on some aimless Autoblog, and receive the mighty Google's ranking and traffic blessings?

Remember those days?

Well, if they're not completely dead at this point, they should be.

This is obvious.

And you know what?

It's for a good reason.

Content without quality is nothing more than static.

Annoying, non-sensical, and unnecessary.

Google knows this, and they protect the integrity of their operation by ensuring that their search engine users never are subjected to such nonsense.

It's a good thing.

So if you remember nothing else, remember this — quality content comes before anything in this business

We want our end-users enjoying great benefit by reading what we have to say.

This experience, above all other things, is something we cannot ignore

We're cutting our throats if we try.

And you know what?

This is by no means just limited to search engine rankings or even website content, for that matter.

Quality content is every bit as important when it comes to email marketing.

Just ask the people using boring, scraped content what kinds of conversions they're getting.

It will become painfully apparent to you.

Can You Write? Or Can't You? (Be Honest!)

Listen, I understand that not everyone is a best-selling author.

We can't all "write like the wind."

For many marketers, English isn't their first language.

And for those who are native English speakers, writing compelling content isn't always instinctive.

It can be tough to create content that compels your reader to do whatever it is you want them to do, from clicking a link to leaving a comment to liking a page to buying a product or service.

Some people do this exceptionally well.

But most don't.

And if you're not a great content writer, there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone can fix a car, build a house, design a rocket, or formulate a life-saving drug.

We all have our unique strengths.

That said, if you want to be successful in the competitive world of Internet marketing, you're going to either need to become an excellent content writer, hire somebody to write the content for you or both

That's just the way it is.

You really can't afford to send out mediocre-quality stuff to the world.

Again, this doesn't mean you need to become a great writer to make great money.

For example, if you're an email marketer (which you really should be if you're serious about making a really nice income online), you can either work your butt off to build a list of 100,000 subscribers or more (hard), or you can build a small list but craft extraordinary emails that turn a high percentage of them into buyers (easy).

Becoming educated in the fine art of compelling email writing is a good idea.

There are a few excellent courses on the subject available.

Likewise, you can head over to the Warrior Forum's "Warriors for Hire" section to find a reputable email writer.

Another good option would be to look into something like Tony Shepherd's "How to build a super responsive email list", which is really the best way to learn how to become a great email writer.

Anyway, it's just something to think about.

I just wanted to plant that seed in your head today. It seems like everyone is so focused on "this strategy" or "that strategy"... "this way to game the system" or "that way to game the system"... when in fact, the focus should be on quality.

And it should be on providing genuine value to the marketplace.

So I hope this helps.

I'd love to see you take the quality of your content extremely seriously. You should probably put more focus on it than you put on anything else. I say this because, again if you're turning a large percentage of your readers into buyers, you don't have to work so hard on traffic volume.

This notion should come as a breath of fresh air to you.

That's all I've got for now.

We'll get together again soon, okay?

Regards,
Brent
