A friend came to me and asked, 'How do I make money online?'

I told him that was the wrong question to ask.

He thought I was bullshitting him.

I explained to him that money is an exchange of values.

So, if you want to make money online, the question you should be asking is what can I bring that has enough value to others that they will be willing to pay for it?

You may not know how to market these values.

You may not know how to build a website to provide these values.

You may not know where to find customers.

It doesn't matter.

What matters most is knowing what values you can and are going to provide.

You can learn the know-how and skills, or you can outsource them as you move along.

Some people may say, I don't have any money to build a site, outsource or buy learning materials.

Well, there are many free resources online to get you started.

There are also many places online where you can make some money by simply trading your time for money.

It takes time, but you'll surely make some seed money to get you started.

There is no excuse.

All it takes is a burning desire and the right question.

Let me repeat.

The right question to ask is, "What values can I provide?", not "How do I make money?"

For those of you who are already providing value in exchange of money, your question would be "How can I magnify and/or multiply that value?"

Ask the right question about money, and you'll certainly make it and make more of it.

Brent.

P.S. One of the things I think I do particularly well is to find new ways to make money online.

I have put some of them together in a report that I have listed on Gumroad.

It's there for two reasons.

I'm trying Gumroad out as a sales platform for you, and I think I can leverage a new source of people.

At this stage, I have two reports up you can see both here.
