You know you have to write that email or that review.

Perhaps you need to get a sales letter done, a new blog post or maybe you are working on your book.

And nothing is happening.

You have written everything you can think of, and the page is blank.

One technique, which works for some, is to reverse what you are trying to write.

Instead of trying to write a positive review, write a negative one.

Write a sales letter that trashes the product.

Write an email that tells your subscribers why they should unsubscribe.

Beware though, this is an exercise to get your creative juices flowing, don't publish these documents and don't send the email.

Actually, I do send that unsubscribe email to one list.

It's the second email they get in the sequence, and most don't unsubscribe at that point.

Next time you're stuck, give this a try.

Sometimes you get great insights that you can use in your main writing.

It might work for you as it has for others.

At the very least, you'll be able to go back to your proper writing because the flow will have started.

Regards,
Brent.

P.S.  One person I know who makes a full-time living from writing is Tony Shepherd.

You can learn more about him and how he does it here https://go.wm-tips.com/asal, he is very transparent about what he does and how he does it.

You can learn a lot just by getting his emails, but you'll also get a PDF that tells you what he does when you sign-up on this page.
