Sometimes I forget that not all of you have experience with the way things work online. The list of web 2.0 sites I gave you yesterday are not clickable links, they are copy/paste URLs. I did say to paste them into a spreadsheet, and I didn't say that you shouldn't list these in Google sheets. Because you will use these sites as your PBN, you do not want Google to know how you are using them, or they will quietly deindex all your sites. So, you need to create a new spreadsheet in whatever tool you have on your computer. It won't matter if it's Excel, Numbers, LibreOffice Calc, OpenOffice Calc, any of the others as they all work pretty much the same. Copy the list of web 2.0 sites and paste them into a column. Most of these tools will allow you to highlite everything in a column and change the text to hyperlinks. You might have to search your favourite search engine to find out how, but they will do that for you. When you have a column of links, you can click each link and open it in your web browser. Create your account, save the account details in your spreadsheet or use LastPass to manage that for you. Once you have tested each of the sites and deleted the ones that no longer work, you're nearly ready to go. What I do now is break the list into groups of five, insert a row above the group and name it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. Each weekend I create or find one piece of content related to the site I want the links to point to, using keywords or questions as the core. Each weekday I post the content to each of the five sites in the spreadsheet with the embedded links and varying anchor text. I save each piece in the row for the site, so I know what I have already posted there. This activity takes about 1/2 to 1 hour to do, and then I can get on with doing whatever else I want for the day. Do the numbers. You'll have between 25 - 50 backlinks to your site after the first week. After the first month, that will be 100 - 200 backlinks. That's probably more backlinks than you have ever created for any site before. Keep it up for six months, and you'll have between 600 and 1200 backlinks. Keep in mind that these are already high traffic sites where you are posting. People will find your links and follow them. You could have hundreds of visitors hitting your site in days.
It's nearly ready for live testing, and you'll get to beta test it with me, probably next week. I'll let you know where to get it, and it will be free for you. |
