I was on one email list for over a year without opening more than 1 in 10 emails. I now read every email that person writes. I didn't open any emails on another email list for over two years and now read everything I get sent.
I was chatting with a valued subscriber today, and this appeared. Sometimes people need to hear or read the same thing from different people before it sinks in. Other times it only sinks in when they are ready to learn. There is a saying — When the student is ready, the teacher appears. Hmmm... tomorrows email, I think. I suspect you are right about buying the course eases the pain. I can get fit now I have a gym membership. I don't go, but I could anytime. I can build a business with this new course I have. I won't take any action, but I could. It's the potential for change that they buy, not the change, that's so much harder.
Thanks for the stimulus, Britt. Here is the email. What came out in that discussion is true, something for you to think about when you're crafting your sales page or product. It doesn't matter how good you think you have done, the product or sales page is not for you. It's for your audience, and they will not always take the best action for them. They cannot be relied upon to see or grasp all the subtleties of your offer. Often because they are just not ready to see them yet. They will, and they might take action, but it might not be your product they buy. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to learn how to craft your offers so that they can see themselves in the story and see the pain go away after they purchase your solution. Regards,
In this 5-day course, you will discover how easy it is to write compellingly, and Britt will help you by critiquing your work to help you write better. Get it here, https://go.wm-tips.com/reviews. |
