Yep, we all make mistakes and I made one yesterday. The page I linked to in yesterday's email was broken. I realised late the night before that it was but I decided that I would have time in the morning to fix it before the email went out. As I began to run out of time I decided to delay the email. For some reason that didn't work and the email went out while I was still in the process of repairing the page. I discovered this when I went to send the email and found that it had gone out 2 hours earlier. For those of you who clicked the link, it must have looked extremely odd. The thing here is that I made two mistakes that compounded an earlier error. I screwed up the page in the first place. What compounded the error was not fixing it when I discovered the problem. I misjudged how long it would take to fix and then made an error in delaying the emails. Proof that it doesn't matter how long you've been marketing online you still make mistakes. They don't kill you, you don't get jailed for them, mostly hardly anyone even notices. The solution is to fix the mistake and move on, don't sweat it. Regards, Brent. P.S. So, for those of you who did click the link it's a bit further down again but the page is OK, I think. If not let me know. For those who didn't click through this is what you missed out on. Yesterday's email was about creating products from stuff you find on the Internet. A simple 5 step process that works to go from idea to saleable product. The link is to some training from a long term marketer who shows you exactly how to convert PLR to a saleable product, because that's faster. Anyone who wants to make money on the Internet needs to know how to create content or buy it. You do need quite a lot of content so you should learn how to make best use of what you find or buy and do it efficiently. |
