Like many things in life, you get to choose what you'll be.

Remember your past, but don't repeat the bad bits.

Always repeat the good bits.

You are not your history, and you are not your parents or siblings.

The estimated chance of you being born at all is 1 in 400 Trillion.

That means that you are a miracle.

Extrapolating that then means that there never was nor never will be another person like you, even if you are one of twins or more.

Even identical twins are not 100% identical, as anyone who knows twins well can tell you.

Now that you know that your existence is a miracle and that you are one of a kind, doesn't it seem reasonable that you are perfectly you?

Rare items are valuable, even if they are ugly, to some.

Why, then, wouldn't you be the most excellent example of you, and you can choose to be excellent in everything you do.

It's a choice that is available to you starting today.

Choose to be excellent.

P.S.  Of course, you won't be excellent immediately, especially if you haven't attempted to be excellent before.

You'll have to grow into it, but it starts by choosing to be excellent and then doing the best you can every day.

It's like choosing to be the type of person who lifts weights every day. You still have to start small and keep at it until you are the type of person who lifts weights every day.

Developing the habit of being excellent will take some work, but you'll find that it's worth it.
