Think about your last blog or Facebook post/email/sales letter or any other writing you did recently.

Could you have made that 1% better if you took a little more time and care?

Thought about the wording for a little bit longer?

You probably could, and I'm sure that I could have done a little better with the subject line on yesterdays email if I hadn't been in a hurry to get it done.

But what's so great about 1%?

Why is 1% a miracle?

All of us can do better, but we are all a little bit lazy when it comes to what we do every day.

We all run on routine, on autopilot for almost everything we do.

This is a human characteristic and is an embedded defence mechanism.

When we don't have to concentrate on what we do, our brains are more able to notice changes, things out of place, that Sabre-Tooth Tiger watching us from the bushes.

Autopilot allows our concentration to roam, and it keeps us alive, not so much now that all the Sabre-Tooth Tigers are extinct.

The other advantage of operating on autopilot is that we do those things more smoothly, but not necessarily more efficiently.

For example, let's say that you decide you want to write better and decide to write something every day (you should if you want to make money online).

Let's also say that you write consistently, and you manage to make what you write 1% better each day.

It shouldn't be hard really, choose one better word in 100 words written will do that for you.

When you make it a habit to write 1% better every day, your writing will be 37 times better at the end of the year than at the start of the year.

In two years, that would be 142 times better.

All because you decided to write better and improve by 1% every day.

Now that's what I call a miracle.

Think about how that would improve all aspects of your life if you applied the same principle to those?

A 1% improvement in your health, diet, relationships, finances, and business would transform everything, wouldn't it?

Do you think you could make some of these 1% better?

I know I could, and I will, starting today with this email.

Regards,
Brent.

P.S.  One other thing that I need to do is improve my online activities by 1% per day.

To build the habit of doing the right activities every day, not most of the time.

It doesn't mean that I need to spend more time on the computer.

It only means that I need to spend more time on the activities that will build my business by cutting back the things that won't.

That makes sense, doesn't it?

Could you give something away?
