This is a true story.

In the Australian outback, most cattle stations muster their cattle by helicopter and motorbike. 🚁

The helicopter pilots are amazingly skilled at low-level flying, often steering the cattle with the helicopter skids.

Two chopper pilots were ferrying one to a station from Sydney, a trip of some thousand kilometres.

Because these tiny helicopters only have a small fuel tank, they were carrying two 200 litre (44 gallon) drums of avgas so they could refuel on the way.

During the trip, they crashed the chopper, and both died in the crash. 🔥

According to the radio records, they knew they were low on fuel and were attempting to make it to the next town to refuel.

That is the bit I don't understand. 🤷‍♀️

They had fuel on-board, they were in a helicopter and could land anywhere reasonably flat.

Why try to make it to the next town?

Regards,

Brent.

P.S. If you don't want to take unnecessary risks you don't have to.

With the correct training and support, you can reach the goals you set yourself.

Choose to take control of your finances instead of being the victim of external factors.

  • External factors like the stock market crashing.
  • Your superannuation company screwing up their investments.
  • Changes wrought by the government of the day.
  • Going through a divorce settlement.
  • Having a bout of unemployment thrust upon you etc.

Any of these can cause you to suffer a significant drop in income. 📉

I've been through most of these so I understand the impact they can have.

I can also tell you that you can recover from these impacts.

The best solution is to create an independent income stream or multiple income streams that are determined by what you do, not what someone else does.
