Most people are, one way or another. Self-Handicapping: Avoiding effort because you don't want to deal with the emotional pain of that effort failing. I know that I have done this many times in the past, but every time you wake up is another day to ignore the before and begin a new today. Took me a few years (OK, a lot of years) to understand this. It doesn't matter how yesterday went, what matters is how you plan to improve things today. Incremental improvement is the only way to get better at anything. You can't go from nothing to massive success overnight. Sometimes it seems that way to outsiders, but the reality is that those "overnight successes" have been working their buts off for years. It's just that nobody knew them then. Have you ever considered the rule of compounding? Einstein considered compound interest to be one of the wonders of the world. The thing is that in the beginning the growth is minuscule, when it kicks in the growth is ferocious. The same principle is in action right from the start, add the interest to the principle, then you add interest on the interest + principle. That's it. In the end though the growth rate is almost verticle when graphed. Knowledge is like that as well. You keep adding to it until one day it seems like you are learning at an outstanding rate. Marketing is also like that. You start small, doing a little bit here and there but learning all the time. After a while, you notice that what you do works better and better until you have created the online income you wanted all along. You just have to get started. Regards, Brent. P.S.
