We keep getting sucked in by the idea of something for nothing.

And they are everywhere: You can find free trials for underwear, diet pills, makeup, mattresses, razors, CBD oil, gyms, dating apps, educational products, music.

Why do we keep getting sucked in by the idea of something for nothing?

It's tempting to think there's a magic formula for finding these deals — one that will help you spot all the ones that aren't worth your while.

But as much as we want to believe otherwise, there isn't any such secret sauce

It comes down to common sense and knowing yourself well enough to recognize when someone else has taken advantage of you.

If you're looking for a good deal, here are three things to consider:

1) Is it actually free?

If so, how long does it last?
Some companies offer trial periods where you don't have to pay anything upfront; others require payment before or after using their service.
And some services charge an ongoing fee even if you cancel within 30 days.

Make sure you know what you're signing up for.

2) What is the cost?

The price tag on most offers is pretty low compared with other purchases you might make.
For example, buying a new mattress from Casper could set you back $400–$600, but many people spend slightly less than half that amount each month on coffee at Starbucks alone.
So be wary of hidden fees like shipping charges and taxes, especially if those costs add up quickly over time.

3) How do I get started?

Once you've found a company offering a great deal, check out its website to see whether it requires registration or sign-up steps—and if so, how simple they are.
Many sites allow you to browse through offerings without providing access to more information about them.
Others may ask for your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, etc., which means you'll need to log into your account to complete your purchase.

That said, not every site needs this level of personal info, so shop around until you find one that works best for you.

The bottom line: Don't just take anyone's word for it.

Do your homework first!

Brent.

P.S. An A.I. wrote everything above my sign-off.

I did edit it slightly.

This A.I. tool is built into Frase.

It's in public beta but is already pretty good.

It has some remarkable features already available and what they have in the pipeline is exceptional.

The A.I. functionality is part of the SEO add-on, so make sure you pick that up when you get Frase here https://go.wm-tips.com/frase.

The training that comes with your purchase is excellent and will get you churning out high-quality content that will improve your site ranking.

If getting ranked is your thing, this will push your pages higher, faster, and with less effort on your part.
