According to Marlon Sanders' only one to two out of ten product offers will work well.

I knew that not all offers work well, but I was surprised by the statistic in his book "Ockhams's Razor Income System".

He states that one to two will work well, three to four will be mediocre, which means that five to six will be dogs.

Does that explain why what you are doing isn't making you the money you want?

  • Not enough products.
  • Not enough emails.
  • Not enough testing.
  • Not enough traffic.

For each traffic source you are testing, a sales page and product combination will work well, but you have to experiment to find what that is.

The chance of you hitting the right combination on your first try is not good.

You can improve your chances by finding a group of people who have the same interest, joining the group and finding what problems they talk about most.

The group could be a forum or a Facebook group.

Join in, ask questions, answer questions, so you become a part of the group.

Then you will discover what bugs them the most.

Find or create a solution to their problem and offer it to them.

You may be able to do a joint venture with the group owner to email their subscribers with your offer.

On Facebook, you can find groups of people with similar interests and target them with ads.

You can use the same insights to target people outside those groups with Google or Bing ads.

You will still have to fine-tune your ads, landing page and sales page to maximise your sales, but it helps that you have a product that scratches their itch.

Brent.

To be honest, I find Marlon's voice irritating in his videos, but it is definitely worthwhile learning to put up with that because he really does know his stuff and his training and methods are brilliant.
