The secret to success is not getting started... ...it's getting finished what you started.
It's easy to get started. If you're like me, you have lots of projects started. How many of them have you finished? How many of them have a buy button on them? How many of them have you sent some traffic to? Most of us find that it's easy to be enthusiastic about a new project, but it's harder to remain excited over the weeks or months that some projects take to get to the finish line.
Finishing is something only successful people do, who would have thought? Finish, and you'll be ahead of 80-90% of everyone else trying the same thing. So, how do you finish? You break down the larger tasks into simple, easier to complete microtasks. Microtasks means that even if you can only work on a task for 5 minutes at a time, progress is achieved, tasks can be ticked off, and milestones are approached and passed. One after another until you arrive at the end. Even if you have to do it inch by inch. That is the secret to success. Not good ideas. Not perfection in execution. It is not getting started. It's in finishing. For better or worse. The more things you finish, the more successful you'll be. The faster you finish things, the faster you'll be successful. When you break the tasks down to daily measurable bites, your success is almost inevitable. Are you inching towards your goals in a meaningful way every day?
