This idea is a little different.

You can get free and unfettered access to a massive collection of images and data.

In their own words:-

Welcome to Smithsonian Open Access, where you can download, share, and reuse millions of the Smithsonian's images—right now, without asking. With new platforms and tools, you have easier access to nearly 3 million 2D and 3D digital items from our collections—with many more to come. This includes images and data from across the Smithsonian's 19 museums, nine research centers, libraries, archives, and the National Zoo.

The link you need is https://www.si.edu/openaccess.

Can this beat all those other sites with royalty-free images?

Probably not entirely but you should add this to your bookmarks for future use.

How to use these images?

I can think of a couple immediately.

You could use an image as it is for blog posts, header banners or as thumbnails for videos.

You could use the image and the description of that image as inspiration for whatever you need to write.

I was going to write about motivation and discipline, but the link to the Smithsonian came up, and I thought that this link would be more useful right now.

I'll talk about why discipline is more important than motivation in tomorrows email.

Don't spend too long exploring the Smithsonian today you have work to do.

Regards,

Brent.

P.S. I had a great email today written in gibberish. I'm delighted that yesterday's email struck a chord and has inspired you.

The creation process has always seemed more difficult for some people than it is for others.

Some people also think that they are not creative.

That's not true; all of us are capable of creating things of value to us or others.

Most of what you create will resonate with somebody, not everybody of course but that's not a requirement.

You may not be interested in everything I write, that's fine.

I try to mix it up and write something of interest for everyone here, but I don't always get it right.

If I get it right sometimes, then that's probably as good as I can expect.

You might have already seen this and decided it's not for you but if you haven't, then Fast Start 9 is still in launch pricing and is worth checking out
