#1 – Likes are not conversions. #2 – Too many of the wrong sort of likes will block your real audience from seeing your post(s). Facebook runs on a massively flawed algorithm. The way it works is that each post you make gets shown to a percentage of your existing audience. If you don't get much engagement from them, Facebook doesn't show it to any others. The more engagement, likes, comments, or shares, the more it's shown to more of your audience. Remember that Facebook, like Google, is advertising-driven. The more traction you get means they can sell advertising to others who want the same sort of traction, and this is fraudulent as well, but I'll get back to that. The problem is that you can buy likes. Those likes come mainly from like farms in third-world countries. None of those likes will ever hit your posts again, ever. So these are fake likes. Facebook also sells you fake likes. Every time you see a promo from Facebook offering you more engagement for a fee, that's what you'll get. That means that even Facebook is selling you something that will decrease your ability to get in front of real people. OK, that's bad enough, but when you pay for an ad on Facebook based on their metrics, you get a meagre click-through rate. The fake likes skew their metrics and will get your ad shown to people who will not click on it. Does Facebook know this? I don't know, but if they do, they rob the advertisers blind and defraud them of millions. If they don't, then they are not looking at their metrics properly. The bottom line here is don't buy likes, and don't buy Facebook ads. Read this article for more information https://copyblogger.com/bye-facebook.
You can use Instagram to build a following and use the same content, with more text, on Facebook to build a double audience. To get a head start on Instagram, I have a pack of images available that you can use as-is or modify to suit yourself. https://go.wm-tips.com/instamoney. The other thing is that I still have a couple of places available for the coaching. |
