We have had three birthdays in the family to deal with.

The most fun one was the 3-year-old's birthday.

When they get to three, they realise what birthdays mean, and not just presents and treats.

The excitement of the visitors, the presents, and the fuss compound until, sometimes, emotions overflow.

By the time they hit 36 or 40, the other two birthdays, it's totally different.

Far less emotion, far less fuss and not much celebration.

Especially when one of them is remote, so communication was only via video link.

Funny how we are all experts at video conferencing in 2021.

I also managed to get one bike ride in for an hour, and I chose the wrong route.

I picked the hilliest route when I should have taken it a bit easier since I haven't had a ride for just over a week.

Anyway, my legs should have recovered enough for a short ride tomorrow. I'll take an easier route for this one to warm up the legs a bit.

I won't get much riding this week either, as it looks like rain for most days.

I don't particularly appreciate riding on wet paths as they become pretty slippery.

The cold affects my breathing a bit, making climbing hills harder, and I wouldn't say I like getting rained on.

Fussy old bugger, aren't I.

The big advantage of it being wet is that I have more time to work on projects online, so there are plusses and minuses in every situation.

What have you done with your weekend?

I hope you put it to good use and made some progress on your projects.

Regards,
Brent.

P.S.  Have you taken on the 30-minute list challenge yet?

If you don't already have an email list that you are growing, this is an excellent way to get started.

Since you are planning to make an online income, you will need a list of people you can write to regularly who will give you feedback on your emails, thanks to those who do and will buy things you offer to them.

Thank you to you as well.

Despite the clamouring from some self-proclaimed experts, email is not dead.

I get emails from Facebook and Twitter regularly, so it seems that they think email is still valid.

Think of how many sites want you to sign-up with an email address. Why do you think they do that?

If those massive platforms think email is still valid, why would you balk at it?

Go here to take on the challenge. https://go.wm-tips.com/challenge.
