There is a new blog post waiting for you here. The main thrust of this blog post is that all of us who need to write for a living or a hobby sometimes sit facing a blank page with no idea of what to write next. Other times we can be part-way through an email, a blog post or a book and just hit a wall. Inspiration doesn't always strike when you need it. I found this graphic which has some great tips on how to overcome that issue with 8 tips that work. I have duplicated the graphic for this post, with permission and a link back to the original author's website so you can get a better feel for what she is trying to say.
Regards,
P.S. There is another way you can get some writing under your belt. Write a review of something, anything really, as a practice run for what you really want to write. You may remember I wrote some time back about writing jumbled words just to get the flow working. That works for some but not everyone. Others will need to have a more structured format, this is where reviews come in. You could write a review of my emails, the blog post, the mouse you use, the mouse mat you use, or anything else that you use daily. You probably know it fairly well and so you can write about it from personal experience.
To help you with the review structure why not check out this great 5-day training. |
