I was recently reading Matt Mullenweg's blog. He is one of the founders of WordPress, which is now 17 years old. WOW! I was using the forerunner to WordPress at the time, B2Evolution, and started using WordPress within a year of its launching. When WordPress was launched, the critics told Matt & Mike Little that "... the blogging software market was saturated and there wasn't room or need for anything new." Now WordPress is installed about 500 times a day, is responsible for 26.4% of the web and has 59.4% of the CMS market share. It's also available in 56 languages, has nearly 2 million posts per day. Who says you can't carve a niche out for yourself in a 'saturated market'?
Nope, just 449 and they nearly all work remotely and have since the company began in 2003. Now, it isn't realistic to expect that every one of you will be able to replicate the success of WordPress, but you should be able to carve a nice, lucrative niche from any of the other markets that you want. Remember though that in any market you will have to differentiate yourself to stand out. A 'me-too' approach will not work. Fortunately, that is easy to do. Be yourself, espouse your values and ideas, you are unique, and so are your thoughts, ideas and views. Share them. Regards,
I bought a product from a friend that shared how to get a membership site, a blog site, an email list, an autoresponder and traffic for free. I took that info and started work on it. In a couple of hours, I had my first visit, and I hadn't even done any marketing. Here is the link to my first blog post. https://link.wm-tips.com/member You will benefit from the training that I also picked up so here is the link to get that. https://link.wm-tips.com/fatstacks and yes that is an affiliate link. |
