Well, that's been an interesting week.

It turns out that finding blogs to comment on has proved to be rather tricky.

Last time I did this it was easy, but it appears that most of the better-ranked blogs have commenting turned off.

Probably to avoid the spam commenting tools that were so popular a while back.

The blogs that I did find to comment on were so lowly ranked and had so little traffic that it wasn't worth the time to leave a comment.

When the top listing for the keyword had only two comments and they were from 2019 that gives you some idea.

So, I need to find another source of free traffic and a way for you to get access at no cost.

I'm thinking about video on YouTube at the moment because it'll probably be faster than forums or Facebook.

Both of those will work after you have made an effort to join in the conversations first.

Another viable alternative is the answers websites, but again I haven't used them for quite some time, and they may not work as well as they once did.

P.S.  One of the issues with having an email list, and the one that stopped me from building one for years (that was dumb), is the issue of what to write.

I had no idea of what I would write and if I could keep it up day after day.

As it turned out, yes, I could write an email every day, and I hope that they are reasonably interesting.

I had to learn how though and it took quite a while, but I persisted in annoying you until I started to get it right.

You probably feel the same way if you don't have an email subscriber list yet, or have started to collect emails but are struggling to get the engagement you want.

There is a short-cut to getting the engaged list without going through all the pain others have gone through.
