..which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune.

Brutus, in William Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar.

Do you believe this is the case?

The suggestion is that there is only one chance to achieve success.

Another statement with a similar thought is success is achieved when opportunity meets preparedness.

I don’t believe either of these.

I have always thought that opportunity doesn’t knock on your door once, it pounds on the door constantly.

The difference is that most people, not you of course, think it’s a door-to-door salesperson and don’t answer the door.

Sometimes you need to grab an opportunity because it suits you or inspires you, and then learn the skills to take advantage of it as you go along.

Hmmm.

What does this mean for you and marketing?

Well, there are many different ways to create an income or business online.

There are thousands of niches that are profitable.

Hundreds of platforms will pay you for doing stuff.

There are hundreds of ways to turn a hobby into income.

One of the things that is consistent with all of these is controlling your traffic.

The number one way to control your traffic is still email.

Think about this.

When you sign up with any Social media platform, they ask for your email address.

What do they do with it?

They send you emails to let you know what’s happening in your social group.

Doesn’t that mean that they think that email is more important than their platform?

If that’s the case, do you think that you should also have an email list?

Brent.

P.S. That Facebook group is excellent and you’ll get excellent guidance there, but there is another bit of training that you’ll get a great benefit from.

You need to have a way to write emails to them regularly in a way that will help keep them opening your emails and clicking your links.

With his permission, I can offer you Tony Shepherd’s How to build a super responsive list training.

Why listen to Tony?

He has been a full-time Internet Marketer, selling his own products almost exclusively for years.

This training teaches you exactly how he does it.

Pretty cool really.
