Let me start by saying this is old-school, and I don't think it's used much anymore, but it still works great. Google knows everything that happens on the Internet. Actually, that's not true at all. Google knows about 10% of what happens on the Internet. They don't know anything about what happens inside membership sites or any other site that isn't open to the general public. That doesn't matter, what they do know can bring you large quantities of free traffic, and that's what this is about. Google has a little known service called Google Alerts, https://www.google.com.au/alerts, which will send you an email listing any changes or additions to any site they monitor based on any keyword you submit. You can get these alerts daily or weekly. I have some I set up years ago that still deliver emails every day. The beauty of these alerts is they tell you what Google thinks is good content for those keywords. OK, how do you use these alerts? You go to the site, check out their content, and write a curated post of your own about that content, or you can write your own post about the same subject. If it's a blog, you can also leave a comment on that blog entry with a link to your website. When you do leave a comment, make sure you leave one that is relevant to the post. You don't have to agree with the post, but you have to write a thoughtful comment, or it will get deleted. Do this consistently, once a week is sufficient, but daily is better. You will get traffic from the blogs and improved ranking due to the backlinks and the topical posts you write. It won't happen overnight, and you will need to be consistent for several months or even longer if the niche is tough, but the results will come because you are giving Google what they want. Like most things to do with Internet marketing, consistency and doing the easy work is what counts. None of this is hard, but most people won't do the required work and complain when they don't get results. Regards,
You can use Adsense or one of the other advertising networks, except that many people find that is a slow way to make money. Other people use products that they have an affiliate relationship with to improve the cash flow. You can sell your products either rebranded PLR or your unique products. The best way is to test and find out which products work best for your site and your content. I prefer affiliate, PLR and my products as they seem to work best for what I do.
