At this time of year, many people (most?) are reviewing their last year and semi-planning for the next one.

All of us have some downtime over the Christmas break to spend with families and friends.

I do understand that not everyone celebrates Christmas but so much shuts down that it's hard to ignore the holiday period completely.

As you go through what went right last year and what went wrong, you may think that anything you do next year has to be an improvement.

We are still grappling with some huge unknowns for 2021, but that shouldn't prevent us from planning to reach the goals we want.

With most things, on or offline business, if you want to stand out, it pays to be extraordinary.

What does that mean and how do you achieve it?

It's two words mashed together so extra + ordinary.

Ordinary is average and what you get when you don't try too hard.

It's average, and you won't be standing out with average.

But extra + ordinary is a little bit better

You put in a bit more effort to make your content better than average, and it shows.

You add a bit more to your explainer video that helps clarify some part.

You find another reference or two for your blog post to add more 'meat' to your content. (With apologies to the vegetarians and vegans.)

You add more to your emails, so the subscribers get better value.

You show you mean business by sticking to your schedules or deadlines.

Can you do this?

Of course you can, you are already extraordinary you only need to show the rest of us.

Regards,
Brent.

P.S.  With the Christmas break nearly on us I too am considering where I'm going next year.

However, I will be doing my best to maintain the emailing schedule.

I have some exciting things going on in the background that I'm testing.

Case studies will be forthcoming soon.

For now though there is a quick Christmas gift you can get for any child you'll be seeing before the Christmas break.

Get them a Letter from Santa.
