Yes, you have.

Over and over again.

You might have read yesterday’s email and understood that people lie to you, by your perspective.

But I’m not talking about differences between perspectives as being a lie.

No, my definition of a lie is when a person knows different to what they say.

When someone says something different to what they believe, that’s a lie.

And you do get lied to every day.

Who lies to you daily?

Most politicians, most of the media, most lawyers, your boss, your partner, your kids, their teachers, the local mechanic, etc.

The list includes almost everybody you interact with every day.

You lie to people every day as well, unless you are quite unusual.

Why?

It’s all part of maintaining a smooth social interaction.

We call them ‘white lies’ because they are intended to make the other person feel better rather then tell them the truth which might hurt them.

There is another type of lie that you get told most days.

These are meant to deceive you and manipulate you into doing something.

Often it’s to get you to buy something.

I came across one of these recently and I know that this person will make a lot of money from their lies.

That pisses me off but I can’t do much about it other than tell you about it and help you avoid this type of B.S. in the future.

The lie was in a demonstration as part of a webinar for Groovefunnels.

The claim was that with three clicks you could build a webpage that ranks in Google.

The demonstration showed three clicks to build a webpage template, no content other than ipsem place holders, no keywords and definitely no SEO work.

The page was linked to a domain name and a search was done on the domain name.

Look, the "new" page ranked at #1 in seconds.

Here is the lie in that.  The domain name has been registered for 15+ years and is the persons name.

No one will be searching for that as a keyword and no one will be trying to rank for it so even if it was brand new it would rank at the top of the serps.

This demonstration was supposed to show how great these new funnels were for SEO purposes as long a Google knows about the page.

That is a blatant and deliberately deceptive lie to fool the viewer into signing up with Groovefunnels.

When you understand how Google works you can spot deceptions like this easily.

Brent.

P.S. Yesterday I talked about list building and using PLR for content.

Today I’m going to give you access to some training that will show you how to best use the PLR you already have on your computer.

If you don’t already have any you’ll find it easy to get some.

There are many ways to use PLR and I have talked about some of them before today.

The training I’m giving you the link to is from a person who uses PLR regularly and makes a decent income from it, he’ll show you exactly what he does and what you need to do to emulate his success.  No lies here.

Check it out here.
