Steve Jobs once said: ‘I'm convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance...’ I agree with that statement. Whenever you attempt to do anything outside your comfort zone you will encounter obstacles. These can range from your self-belief, the support of your family and friends, obstructions from your competition, rules and regulations and a whole lot more. Many people get stopped by one or more of these. Some change tack in an attempt to 'get around' the obstacles. Others just put their heads down and charge through them. If the shortest distance between two points is a straight line then the ability to knock down walls rather than go around, over or under them can be a useful one. Often though you'll end up bloodied and bruised, metaphorically speaking, of course, trying to go through every wall you come across. The best way to reach a goal you have set yourself is to realise that the goal might be set in stone but the path to the goal can be drawn in the sand and can be modified to suit the current circumstances. So, in Steve Job's words, you can see how the perseverance of a person will make a huge difference to the results achieved. The biggest thing preventing most people from reaching their goals is not outside influence though. The biggest obstacle is a space only 6 inches wide. The space between your ears. It's all in the way you think and the difference is the question you ask yourself when you hit one of these obstacles. If you hit a wall and say "bugger, that's stopped me" or do you say "how do I get around this?" The second question is the difference. There is always a way past the obstacle, and it's not luck. One definition of luck that I like is that luck is what happens when preparedness meets opportunity. Are you prepared to act on opportunity when it pounds on your door? Or are you more likely to say "don't open the door, it's probably the wolf"? Do you have the courage to earn a 6-figure income next year online? Regards, Brent. P.S. I'll stop talking about Society11 next week because you won't be able to get in. It closes on Sunday but you know that. Here is the second last link http://go.wm-tips.com/society11, you'll get from me on that subject. Some of you have joined already, thanks for that but more importantly congratulations on taking a step that should result in you making a lot more money in the next 12 months than you did in the last 12. For the rest of you, really? Is the cost too high? Cheaper than your monthly coffee cost. Will probably save you at least that much per month on not buying the stuff you don't need. Add in the free training you'll get in the group such as a post from yesterday on how to rank your YouTube channel and videos, no I'm not going to share that, I'm not permitted to but that in itself could have been a WSO priced at $97 and it would have been worth it. It was posted by a member who gets no financial benefit from it at all. Hands down the best value membership on the Internet. Don't do it for me, do it for you and your family.
